Terminator MAF Installation

IRS Terminator

The first thing that you need to do is disconnect 2 electical connectors. One that goes to the air box lid and the second one that goes to the MAF. (note: I had already replaced my stock Lid with a Whisper but the stock senser is still used.)

Now I already stated that I had installed my Whisper lid so if you are installing the Terminator MAF housing and you have the stock air box, you will need to take a few more steps. Look at the Whisper installation page for more details. Next I released the clips holding the Whisper Lid down and loosened the clamp around the throttle body.

Separate the stock MAF housing from the air box lid and rubber tubbing that goes to the throttle body.

There are 4 screws that you have to take out to seperate the the MAF for the stock housing.

This is a pic of the separated stock MAF housing (top) and the Terminator housing with the MAF in the center (bottom). The side where the meter plug jack extends, the housing screw holes are closer together. Also the part of the MAF housing has a notch cut into it so you can not screw it up. Plus the MAF is labeled something like "this side toward air box.

Now the last thing to do is put everything back on in reverse order that you took it off.
