What do you mean? What are we missing? Unless I'm mistaken, there were a bunch of posts lost long before I took ownership of FvC. But - I'm pretty sure most of our history is searchable...

I'm still here, of course. Unfortunately, everyone has else found either:
1. Other interests (no longer owns a Ford or Chevy)
2. Another forum that caters better to their specific interest (Ford or Chevy)

Forums are still doing fine. www.cadillacowners.com is busy as all hell. And plenty others are as well.
The fact is that most of the active members here have found other homes for their online discussion. Yes, social networking has taken SOME away. But there are more focused sites for Ford fans and Chevy fans than this one. I tried sparking some discussion by having the latest news posted - but that didn't work. There's really nothing more I can do. If you want to talk Chevy or Ford, there are much more active places to go.
This site basically serves as a shrine of what once was...
Now go to http://www.automotivehotornot.com and post a picture of your vehicle and/or vote for others...
