I'm now running the Super Turbo 17734's.... The mufflere themselves are now too loud for my taste. A new pair of Super Hemi Turbos 17749's arrived on my doorstep today...
I haven't heard them on a Mark VII yet but from what I've read here I think they are exactly what I'm looking for.

I think you'll like them. We have them on "Old Blue" and though the drone is still present with the stock H-pipe they are quiet (the shell is about half again as long as the 17734) and theoretically flow slightly better than the shorter ones. They're a perfect fit and we've got 2-1/2" intermediate pipes and appropriately lengthened 2-1/4" Mustang tails with reducers on them. We're still working on a custom X-pipe to try to tame the drone.

Has anyone tried the Dynomax Ultra Flo X to try and tame the dreaded drone? The X plus the sound proofing may help.

I am thinking of trying the Magnaflows. Would the part #11265 be the correct mufflers for the Mark VII?

OK. My Dynomax Super Turbos are a bit too loud for my taste at 60MPH.
The drone is not too bad, but at highway speeds (55-65) it gets to me.

So once the summer is over, I am going to go with quieter mufflers. Dynomax Hemi Super Turbo is what I want to go with.

Do I have to go with a specific size? Or will this do? 17747

If I remember correctly they only come in one body size for double offset, and I thought they only came in 2 1/2, but if come 2 1/4 would be better. Get some walker Dynomax 2 1/4 tailpipes also. that will work well for you. I cant see the link hear at work, damn K9 blocking software, how do I get around this crap???

See post #101. The 17747 inlet is in the center while 17749 is offset. You could make the 17747 work but 17749 is simpler.

I just got a pair of new 17749 Hemi Turbo Mufflers from Dynomax.
They look a bit on a long side.
Will they fit on my LSC? I currently have SUper Turbos and want something quieter.

They fit but are really tight, I had them on my white 90, gotta cut the outlet down to about 1 inch and cut the tailpipe inlet down, a little bit of work but worth it, you wount be dissapointed. Did you get new tails also??? If you need someone to install let me know.

Nick I did not get the tails yet. And yes, I do need someone to install at. I am afraid of what might happen on the junkyard!

Just wondering why you are "unimpressed"??? Because they are quiet???

I use the Magnaflow Magnapacks. I did my personal research on YouTube. People record this information. How awsome is that. I listened to many Mustang notes. I decided on the shortest Magnapack muffler and I am very satisfied with the results even with 4 CATS hooked up. It will improve after I remove that and install 2 1/2 BBK offroad H-pipe :)

I'm wondering why you don't like them also . I have used different types of Dynomax mufflers in the past and liked them all (the turbo tubes were kinda loud though)

I have a United Exhaust cat-back, 2 1/2" with Magnaflows. I am really impressed with it, and would recommend that system to anyone.

The muffs are quiet...my wives van makes more vroom vroom than my 351, 3" OffRoad xpipe, and wild cam.

I did not do adaquate research, it is my fault. I just thought with all the comments everyone was so pleased with the sound they had WHY NOT....come to find out all you turbo users have quite stuff, not my cup of tea.
