this has been an excellent guide........shame i'm about 5 yrs too late for alot of the aftermarket parts.......i dont post here much, but i read alot......i am a member of the mk7club and also one of the founders of grandmarq.net.......i work on mainly panther chassis cars and mk7's.......been servicing marks for many yrs......started my own gig about 5 yrs ago.
i got one customer interested in the 99-04 mustang brakes.......going to start gathering parts asap.........at least the lead work has been done....saves me trouble.........i was the first person to install 98-02 town car brakes on a 1986 town car.....no abs or air suspension to worry about tho lol

I just want to thank everyone who compiled this colaboration of parts and #'s. I would like to add, in the section of Rear control arms, my Mark7 is coil converted. The bushings rear beat and sat real, real low in the back(can see in my signature pic). I replaced Mk7 rear lower arms with 79-04 Mustang arms. I also bolted in place a factory 79-98 Mustang sway bar. The the car now sits level and handles just as good as I remember the air ride to be(it has been 7 years since coil conversion). I got rid of the anti-roll bar. That thing was puny. Again, thanks you guys!(and gals?)
Ps. I have a post on the Tech board named "coil converted with mustang arms and swaybar". I have crappy Blackberry pics there of the conversion.

If anyone has anything that they want to add or change, let me know.
Front control arm bushings: Energy Suspension #4.3144. I have a set and have measured them against the factory bushings (outer shell ODs) and they are within five thousandths of an inch of each other. Since all of these are press fit this is within accepted tolerances. This part number includes four outer shells, four urethane bushings and four inner sleeves. ES tells me that these are the same parts that they hand fitted a few years back to the set of arms now on "Old Blue". Just press out the old bushings (no burning necessary) and press in the new shells. Everything else is assembled by hand.

http://www.cheperfor...nie/prod-77.htm these rear control arms should work atleast if you are running coil springs for the lowers.
