I was going to buy a throttle body plate and EGR spacer from either Accufab or BBK, but when I called Accufab they said it would NOT fit the 91 Mark VII & BBK was closed. I got the same response about the Headers from JBM. What's the deal?

I 2nd that...it will work.
Are you talking the REAL EGR or the EGR eliminator spacer?
Either will work, but I had to rig up the throttle and intake a bit different when I lost the EGR spacer on my project.

Dare I ask why you want this? IIRC you have the stock intake unless you've been modding without telling us. There are possible smog test implications.

You are going to run into this as long as you own a Mark VII.

Between the two, the Accufab is the better TB by a LARGE margin. It costs more, but is well worth the cost.

To add to what Mr. Kelly has asked, an aftermarket TB is a waste of time and money on a stock engine/intake.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I have a cold air intake from BBK that came with the carb sticker, I had the pipes underneath changed the same day & wanted to put in the 70mm throttle body with some headers and then that was about it. I wasn't looking to race, but I did want to make the best of what I have efficiency wise.

The throttle body was the either the BBK or Accufab that comes with the spacer, they say without it it won't pass smog
