Today I ordered all the front control arm bushings (4) and 2 ball joints for my 92 SE. Ordered all the parts from Rock Auto as I usually do. Tonight I'm searching around the forum and find that there is all sorts of information regarding the correct and incorrect bushings and people generally having a hard time getting the correct ones. Has anyone ordered them from Rock Auto and they worked out OK with our control arms? I do plan on having a shop press them in for me as I have some extra control arms in the garage.
Ordered the following:
Raybestos 5651047B (x2)
Raybestos 5651171 (x2)

Take a peek at the sticky above on performance suspension parts. All the known numbers are there. I don't know the Raybestos numbers but the Energy Suspension urethane bushings (4.3144) are my preferred parts. Easy installation (DIY) and no NVH penalty with MUCH more precise handling.

MOOG~ #K8637, this part# as listed in the tech interchange page is listed on Summit, but specifically it doesn't say for MK7, biggest car listed is for Cougar. Is this still the correct part for RUCA

And that is the no. on the box I have in the Basement.
Yes this fits the Mark VII RUCA.
Strange how Rockauto doesn't list this Mark VII application and a Amazon cross reference shows it as not fitting.

I'm still waiting for this dude to do my control arms.. grrr I'm thinkin I'm gonna go pick them up and have Les Schwab do them..
What was the dude supposed to do, press out the bushings? Definitely pick them up. If you have access to a press you can do this yourself. (Remember to put spacers between the sides of the arms to keep them from curling.) If you don't have a press I'm sure you can find a shop that can do it while you wait. Or you could always go to Harbor Freight and ask for a demo.
